Library Prices and Ordering Instructions
Anyone may order information from the Clan Library by sending their request to our Clan Librarian along with a check, when applicable. All printed material in the library is available in both hardcopy and on the library DVD as Adobe Reader PDF Files, with the exceptions noted below.. The library DVD may be purchased in our CGA Store or by Mail.
The exact number of pages for all copyable documents is shown in the inventory, so that you can calculate the cost of your order based on the schedule, below. A surcharge of $3.00 US will be required of non-members for each of the items listed below in addition to the posted price.
1. Query research free to both members and non-members as long as the reply can be sent by email.
2. 4-30 pages of hardcopy for a flat fee of $4.00 US.
3. Red Tower back issues hardcopy, $4.00 per issue including postage.
4. 20-50 pages $0.05 US per page plus $4.00 US (US and Canada). Other countries, $0.05 US per page plus postage.
5. Everything Over 50 pages shipped on a CD for a flat fee of $5.00 US per CD.
6. By special request, orders of over 50 pages will be supplied hardcopy for $0.05 US per page plus postage.
7. One DVD containing the contents of the entire library and all Red Tower Back Issues is available and priced at $10.00 US including postage, for clan members. For non-members the price of the DVD set is $30.00, which includes a one-year membership to the Clan Galbraith Association worth $20.00 US. All members who are owners of the library DVD may upgrade to the latest version at any time for $5.00, including postage.
9. When a request for an un-copyrighted, unbound book or document is received for a book that has not yet been put on a CD, the book will be printed, or added to the last CD on the Library Inventory and shipped to the customer, depending on length or customer preference. The only copying to be done from the few bound books in the library will be copies of a few pages only, to satisfy the fair-use provisions of the US Copyright Law.
10. Orders to be sent to the Clan Galbraith Librarian along with a check made out to The Clan Galbraith Association. Librarian ships copies to customer. If you have email, it will expedite shipping if you also send an email copy of your request to the librarian.
