The May Red Tower is Available for Download

May 25th, 2008

The May 2008 issue of The Red Tower journal of The Clan Galbraith Association is now available for download in our website “Members Only” area.  Our Editor, “Taffy” Satter has produced another outstanding issue.

It is available in two parts.  Part 1 is all the articles and text pages, and is small enough to download with a dial-up internet connection.  Part 2 is 4 pages of photos of our our association’s 14th biennial gathering, held in Huntersville, North Carolina. Part 2 is over five megabytes and will take quite a while to download via dial-up modem.  The pictures are really great, though, and it will be worth your time to suffer the long download.

Website anomalies

April 1st, 2008

The Clan Galbraith Association apologizes for any website anomalies that have occurred recently.  Our Website Administrator and Librarian, Gayle Galbraith, has been hospitalized since mid-January with a severe acute pancreatic attack and he faces yet another month in the hospital, followed by a lengthy recuperation at home.  He and his family ask for your prayers in his recovery. Please contact Joyce Higginbotham, the Clan Secretary, at joyceh@pahrump.com if you have trouble with the website.  We thank you for your patience during this time.

Website Update

July 11th, 2007

Nearly all of the web pages on the Clan Galbraith Association website have been changed to make the page display more compatible with the Firefox web browser. The pages still display slightly better in MS Internet Explorer, but now work better with Firefox, also.

All of the changes are “under the hood” and won’t be noticed unless there is an error on a page. If you notice an obvious error in any page display, please notify the WebSite Admin via the link on our home page. “Techie” comments are also welcome, but we are mainly interested in display anomalies that would be noticed by a casual user.
