Land warrant housed in the PA Archives: Andrew Galbraith #3443 200A survey C34-92 April 1767 In Sherman's Valley on the Lick run on the North side of big Buffalo Creek joining James Loudon and Bartholomew Davison of Rye Twp Cumberland Co/wpg [I have copy of the survey]
Jean H. on page 36 says that Andrew moved to KY in about 1771 and a deed in the Cumberland Co Courthouse states that 'Andrew Galbraith, "now of Kentuicky but late of Pennsylvania" sold a tract of land in Shearman's Valley in 1797'
There is also an Andrew in the 1800 Census, but this cannot (?) be the son of Samuel Sr, as that Andrew had gone to KY.
