Ages of children are highly doubtful, but William and John likely to be close.
There is no record in the Orphan's court John's children. Why did he have James as Gardeen; instructions were not provided.
The delayed patrimony in his will for 4 of the children , especially Robert is v. confusing. But three of the daughters were not married in 1769 when John died. I thus, doubt that they were in their twenties.

Joseph Galbraith. Late of the town of Carlisle. Co. of Cumberland. 13 Oct 1762. 25 Jun 1765. "my well beloved wife Lettice Galbraith all my estate Real and Personal". Execs.: Joseph Bell of Phila. (later renounced), Lettice. Witn by John Stephens, Robert Moore and Andw Galbreath
My only cause for connecting this Joseph to the John of Philadelphia who died in (1766) was the inclusion of a Lettice in the John will as his sister. Lettice was a not common name and since his possible brother Joseph had just died it was reasonable for him to make some provision for Lettice, although she might be only a sister-in-law.
Who was this Andrew Galbreath--it appears that these witnesses and executors were residents of Philadelphia in 1762. However, Andrew was not present in court in 1765 in Philadelphia with the other witnesses when the will was presented.
There is slight belief (i.e., no hard evidence) that this was the Joseph Galbraith, commissary to Coln Geo. Washington during the French-Indian wars.
Joseph Galbraith had a warrant and survey for town lot #129 (Carlisle?) Sept 8, 1762 see p. 678 PA 3-xxiv
