[1367] Newspaper Announcement of Jan 25 1831 shows: "Tuesday last by Rev. M'Conaughy, Valentine Flohr of Franklin to Elizabeth Galbreath, d/Maj. William Galbreath of Mountpleasant". A search reveals a Valentine Flohr dying 31 July 1835 (born 22 Apr 1777) in Franklin Twp. and an Elizabeth Flohr who married 22 Nov 1836 to Thomas J. Cooper at Saint James Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gettysburg, Adams County. Major William is surely the husband of Mary, the couple discussed below, as their daughter was Elizabeth Galbreath Cooper.
