Loree Miller has done much research on this son (as well as the other members of Andrew and Nancy's family) and includes Hugh. I have not followed all the proof, but believe there is still some room for doubt. There was a contemporty Hugh with Andrew and Arthur in VA in the same record for 1771.--Some beleive this Hugh had the son Hugh.
Further, this Hugh between his two wives had more than 20 childrend and did not name any of them Andrew. This chart does include a Nancy, born in 1809, Loree does not include a Nancy in her Listing. Where is Milton Gilbreath? he is apparently not a son. Note that there is a Hugh Gilbreath as well as a Milton who Patent early lands in Missouri. Hugh the west 1/2 of the NE of S36, T47N, R16W; this in Cooper County.
